Melissa Abadie and NB Volunteer Zipporah Porton are training for the Rock 'N' Roll Half-Marathon in Chicago on Aug. 2, 2009, and they figured why not raise money for our furry friends in need and support New Beginnings Shih Tzu & Friends Rescue??  They've reached out to others, and now we have a whole team of dedicated runners and volunteers to help us raise money for this amazing rescue organization.

That's 13.1 miles of running fun in support of dogs in need!
